Dutch Treat Restaurant in Franconia

Excellent short menu restaurant. It's what's on the short menu that's awesome. Unique combinations and classy entrees. Don't let the exterior sway you, this place serves up some gourmet food. Hats off to the lady who served everyone single handed in the dining room. She was a machine.

Food was pricey but good. Over all good experiences

Good food. Locals favorite. Live music, and always got a game on. Pool table. Real bartenders, no measuring or pouring devices. Enjoy

We stopped here for a late lunch. The decor was rustic and really fit its location. We had the Breakfast Burger and the Maple Chicken Sandwich. Both were very good and the cole slaw was great. They also had a good draft beer and a full bar. The service was fast and friendly. We are glad that we tried this restaurant. If this review was helpful to you please give it a like.

Best bartender ever!

Good food and friendly staff.

Came here after skiing to check the place out visiting from Massachusetts. Bartenders discriminates here beware, if you’re not a local from around here you will definitely be reminded of it but in a very rude, unwelcoming way. My friends were being kind the entire time. I had none to drink so I ordered a cranberry Vodka, Ashley (bartender) made me repeat my order then laughed. She brought me a glass of water instead and tried humiliating me in front of her local regulars sitting across from me. Not sure why she’s so hard on the tourists definitely a stuck up employee who needs to be reprimanded. Not coming back here! Zero stars

Amazing food I had crab cakes and Caesar salad unbelievable.

The Chef here really does a good job. I’m from Texas, home of chicken fried steak, and so of course we ordered it and my wife said it was the best she had ever had. Not sure about that but it was damn good with a tender piece of meat. Not the typical grizzly cut. We’ll be back to try some other dishes. Dianne, the sever was great.

Added 20 percent tip on the check without asking to. The server Diane continued to roll her eyes at me and my 4 children. She scratched out the part that said the check included 10 percent tip and put 20 instead. The 20 percent wasn't even legible. Poor service and it was totally disgusting in there. There was a hair in my food and she had cuts on her hands.

The food was hot and delicious. Prices were very good.

Good food, great service. A little expensive

It was ok. Blackened chicken ceaser was quite delicious only I've never had a ceaser salad with mixed greens... It is usually just Romaine which is why I ordered it... all other salads on menu indicated mixed greens in them. Wings are huge and awesome. Service was great. Bartender got a little overwhelmed

Relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. The steak was perfectly cooked. The PEI mussel were wonderful.

My wife and I enjoyed the Maple Salmon which was absolutely terrific. Izzy was a great waitress. Thank you!

Great soups and salads and appetizers! Menu recently upgraded and delicious. Excellent value. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Very nice atmosphere for a wide variety of patrons.

We had very fresh salads, cold beer and crab cakes. Very good.

Diana was such a great host! Delicious food, even on the holiday. French onion soup comes highly recommended, their pizza was perfect thin crust, held up to even The Works! Great job! Excited to stop by again when we revisit the area. Thanks!

It's a great "down to earth", pub/bar, it doesn't pretend to be anything else. The food's good, the beer's good, the staff are pleasant. Shame it shuts at 9.00. But, then again, most other places in Franconia are shut for the summer anyhow. Or it seemed that way. Great place... Keep the faith 😉

Was visiting in NH and stopped by to have lunch.Wonderful food and great service.Saw a old friend from yrs.ago Lori McClain....still working there. ....her service made us feel like we were at home! Ty Dutch treat! Your blue cheese burgers are delicious.

The server told us to pick our own table, and said she was very busy and would get to us when she could. One table of guests were eating, four groups seemed to be waiting for menus or drinks, and most of the empty tables were dirty. Then, we saw someone's food come out and it looked nasty. We didn't bother to chance it and went elsewhere for a warm welcome, a very good meal and excellent service.A five minute observation saved us from an awful experience. The server cost her owner at least $50 and herself a possible $10 tip.Another car pulled in as we walked out. They were back in their car as we drove away.If this is typical of what to expect here, they will be closing soon.

My friends and I were on our way to Canada when we stopped for a break and decided to enter this sports bar. It’s a great place to have a drink/some food and the people that work there are extremely friendly. If I’m driving by this area, I think I’ll stop by again.

Good food reasonably price

Bar scene is better than the restaurant. Food is good, but restaurant service can be unreliable. Great bands & astute bartenders make it great for the night life though.

Friendly, casual, upscale diner food. Daughter had steak, I had fried cod, both delicious. Turtle cheesecake & baked apple pie superb! Went back for 2nd meal!

This is a family favorite since I was a kid. Now that I’m living away, it’s the go-to meal on the last evening of every trip home. The blackened chicken quesadilla is my favorite. Local brew Tuckerman’s pale ale on tap. They make great pizzas too.

One of the servers had long painted nails and one of them was gone and I was thinking that it could have fell into the food and that is just straight up discussing. And she was adding a tip to her self and was being difficult with agreeing that she had put 20% herself and was not nice at all. She was rolling her eyes at one of my kids and even to my friend which is a adult that was with us .

what a nice surprise! our waitress was more attentive about details than could be expected! and we enjoyed crispy, sweet wings and the most delish artisan pizza! right down to the drafts and my shirley temple, it was a very relaxing, enjoyable experience. there was live music in the lounge area along with a couple pool tables. will highly recommend!

Really good, but the drinks were pretty pricey. I don't mean alcoholic drinks, I mean sodas and juice for a family of 5. If we go back again (which both my husband and I thought our food was made well and delicious) I think we'd skip buying drinks!

The food was really good, the decor was nice, and the employees were very friendly.

The older, blonde waitress was horribly rude to us. We ended up leaving before we even got to place our order because she ignored us so long and then argued with us about it. The food is good but not worth being treated like that.
